I have a recipe for a super healthy and delicious banana avocado green smoothie. It’s easy and fast to make, did I mention it’s healthy? This smoothie will keep you full through your morning, or make it in the afternoon for a middle-of-the-day pick me up 🙂
1 small avocado
1 whole banana
1 cup organic baby spinach or kale
1 cup orange juice
Ice to taste
You can absolutely alter this to satisfy your taste buds like anything else; I use kale sometimes as well as chia seeds. The consistency of this recipe is more like that of a go-gurt, so add an additional splash of juice or water for a more liquid smoothie!
Healthy tip: Make sure your banana has as little brown spots as possible, when is is in between green & just barely turning yellow is when your banana is at its healthiest ( less sugar) 😉
