This year we decided to go back to DisnewWorld in Orlando Florida for our summer family vacation. It was super fun, super hot & super memorable!

Deets of our vacay:

Rental home through:

HomeAway I love using HomeAway.com to book our vacation homes because it’s super easy & they have awesome customer service. We used them on our Austin trip as well last 4th of July. I love that your account keeps your TRIPS and the homes selected, making it easy to re-book same properties without the hassle of having to search for them over again.

Disneyworld & Islands of Adv. Tickets:

Purchased through Walmart near our rental home. We felt they offered the quickest and safest experience. Of course you can always purchase online as well.

Favorite restaurants:

T-Rex cafe: Semi-expensive restaurant but worth every penny.¬† We had dinner at this AWESOME restaurant located in Disney Springs after a long day of walking around. The boys LOVED the robotic dinos and all the goodies inside it. The food was great too! I had the lasagna & a corona-rita while the hubs had shrimp and beer…yummm!

Frontera Cocina Mexicana: Another semi-expensive restaurant but so worth the money. The food was exquisite and very authentic to its roots. I ordered the Cochinita Pibil accompanied with lemon water and a Bohemia beer…O.M.G! delish. My husband ordered the Carnitas plate, extra crispy…finger licking good and the boys had the chicken quesadillas with plantain rice and carrots….super tasty. The tortillas at this place are SO GOOD ya’ll….I mean you can almost taste a piece of Mexico, I mean they were just so so so so delicious. I wonder if I can order some? I’ll be back….

Favorite Non-Disneyworld fun

Disney Springs: By far our favorite spot because there’s just so much to do! From bowling, to vintage car-boat rides, to hot air balloon rides and plenty of shopping. You are guaranteed to find something for everyone in your group at this place. I especially enjoyed the different bands playing live music outdoors throughout various restaurants.

Clearwater Beach, Fl: Nice beach, not too crowded although we went right smack in the middle of summer. Clear water, white sandy beaches and TONS of shells along the beach…maybe a little too many…definitely take some sandals or water shoes, especially for the little ones when visiting this beach. The shells can hurt their feet. There’s also many boat excursions you can take, dolphin watching and even parasailing.

Daytona Beach, Fl: Another favorite for our family! We’ve been here every time we visit Florida and it never gets boring. Nice beach, beautiful emerald waters and tons of fun.

Other awesome things we missed on this trip include helicopter rides and Dinosaur World. Although we have one right here at home in Glen Rose, Texas. We will definitely be making a trip there in the near future.

I leave you with a few pictures from our trip =) toodles!
